Yes, shortsightedness, also known as myopia, can sometimes improve or stabilize as a person gets older. This can happen as the eye continues to grow and develop into adulthood. However, for some people, myopia may continue to progress, especially during childhood and adolescence. It is important for individuals with myopia to have regular eye exams to monitor their vision and to discuss treatment options with an eye care professional. **

Back then, shortsightedness referred to a physical condition where a person had difficulty seeing objects in the distance clearly. It was commonly known as myopia, a condition where light entering the eye is focused in front of the retina instead of directly on it, resulting in blurred vision for distant objects. People with shortsightedness often needed to wear glasses or contact lenses to correct their vision. **

No, 3 is not a lot of shortsightedness. Shortsightedness, also known as myopia, is a common vision condition where distant objects appear blurry. The severity of shortsightedness is typically measured in diopters, with lower numbers indicating mild myopia and higher numbers indicating more severe myopia. A prescription of -3 diopters would be considered moderate myopia, but not necessarily a lot. **

It is highly unlikely that shortsightedness can improve by 200 diopters. Myopia, or shortsightedness, is typically caused by the shape of the eyeball or the curvature of the cornea, and these physical characteristics do not typically change by such a large amount. While it is possible for myopia to improve or worsen slightly over time, a change of 200 diopters would be extremely rare and would likely require medical intervention. It is important to consult with an eye care professional for any significant changes in vision. **

Yes, the dream profession of being a pilot can be destroyed by shortsightedness. In order to become a pilot, one must meet certain vision requirements set by aviation authorities. If an individual's shortsightedness is severe and cannot be corrected to meet these standards, they may not be able to pursue a career as a pilot. It is important for individuals with dreams of becoming a pilot to have regular eye exams and address any vision issues early on to prevent their dream profession from being hindered by shortsightedness. **

Hobbies that involve being outdoors in nature include hiking, birdwatching, gardening, camping, fishing, and photography. These activities allow individuals to connect with the natural world, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Engaging in these hobbies can also provide physical and mental health benefits, such as reducing stress and increasing physical activity. **

The quote "the blindness of fate" refers to the idea that people often attribute their misfortunes to external forces or fate, rather than recognizing their own role in creating their circumstances. This can be seen as a form of shortsightedness, as it overlooks the personal choices and actions that may have contributed to the outcome. By acknowledging our own agency and taking responsibility for our decisions, we can gain a clearer understanding of the factors influencing our lives and work towards creating positive change. Therefore, the quote can be interpreted as a reminder to look beyond the perceived influence of fate and consider our own actions and choices. **

I conduct research outdoors in nature as a field biologist. This profession involves studying various aspects of plants, animals, and ecosystems in their natural habitats. Field biologists often spend extended periods of time in the field, collecting data, observing behaviors, and conducting experiments to better understand the natural world. This hands-on approach to research allows for a deeper appreciation and insight into the complexities of the environment. **
