No, René Descartes did not believe himself to be a deceiving god. In his Meditations on First Philosophy, Descartes introduces the concept of a deceiving god as a thought experiment to explore the limits of human knowledge and the possibility of doubt. Descartes ultimately concludes that God is not a deceiver and that clear and distinct perceptions can serve as a foundation for knowledge. Therefore, Descartes does not present himself as a deceiving god, but rather uses the concept as a tool for philosophical inquiry. **

René Marle's resurrection model is a theory that proposes a gradual process of resurrection rather than an instantaneous event. According to this model, resurrection occurs in stages, with the individual's body and soul being gradually restored to their original state over time. Marle suggests that this process involves a combination of physical and spiritual elements, ultimately leading to the complete restoration of the individual. This model challenges traditional views of resurrection as a sudden and miraculous event, offering a more nuanced and complex understanding of the concept. **
