EDUCATIONAL

The strategic focus and main objective of EULAKES project is to ensure a wide promotion of project outputs and results, keeping regular and frequent contacts with local media through the following activities:

  • activation of a coordinated virtual press office;

  • realization of a coordinated graphic image of the project;

  • publishing a dedicated project web site;

  • organization of local and international events.

These basic communication activities will be completed and enhanced by the implementation of an educational campaign for schools and a sensitization campaign for adults (citizens and tourists) focused on the location in project partners' areas of informative points about lake ecosystems, environment and water quality issues.

This work package will disseminate project goals reached and States of the Art about EULAKES project in order to bridge the communication inside the EULAKES network and towards a wide panel of stakeholders concerned by climate change and other impacts on lake ecosystems and their management (local, regional, national, EU levels).

This educational campaign will be realized by the organization of a school international competition in which scholl teams will match in order to promote student exchange.  Informative corners will be set up and they will be located in strategic points for visitors and local communities in each partner area. These informative points, as informative boards, will give useful information about quality potable water and water saving techniques.
